An insurrection was incited to hold power after a free and fair election was lost. Forty-three Republican senators reviewed the evidence and voted to let it go. Not one participant has been prosecuted.
This is not a series of failures. Failures are random. The same party. The same playbook. The same result — every time — for fifty years. The donor class received the policy. The public received the debt, the dead, and the dismantled institutions.
